Granted Words

The wrought iron chains are wrapped around my heart once again,
As another layer of rock is added,
My heart is growing colder and darker.
I see nothing and no one.
I hear nothing except the metal upon stone.
Try as I might, you won't listen.
It's like trying to talk to a brick wall.
Speaking of which, another layer is added,
When I think about how you did me wrong,
And who you betrayed.
You are not loyal,
Betrayal and Desolation
The two gifts you bear to any event.
Try as I might, you won't listen.
Plunder on through your path of self destruction.
Don't come to me for help.
Ones self can not seek to find the inner soul,
When destroying others.
Do not become the lesser, but understand thee.
I am not your servant,
You may not use me to your benefit.
For now, you have one less friend, and one more grudge against you.
If only I saw your true intentions,
I would never have spoken, much less looked at you.
My dry mouth fills with the bitterness and disdain,
That only you can give.
Goodbye old friend,
Friend no longer.
Cleaninnnn out Worddd :D
